Summary:To improve cooling performance of oil flowing down from a cylinder head to an oil pan and inhibit heat strain of the cylinder head.SOLUTION: At an interior of a cylinder head, an exhaust side upper water jacket 34 and an exhaust side lower water jacket 30 are formed so as to generally sandwich an exhaust passage from upper and lower sides. Further, at the downstream side of the exhaust passage 22, an oil dropping passage 16 and one head bolt insertion hole 15 are disposed close to each other. The oil dropping passage 16 and the one head bolt insertion hole 15 are formed at a common boss part 27. The common boss part 27 forms columnar boss bodies 27a whose entire peripheries are exposed to a coolant at portions of the exhaust side upper and lower water jackets 34, 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】シリンダヘッドからオイルパンに向けて流下するオイルの冷却性を向上させると共に、シリンダヘッドの熱ひずみも抑制する。【解決手段】シリンダヘッドの内部には、概ね排気通路を上下から挟むように排気側上ウォータジャケット34と排気側下ウォータジャケット30とが形成されている。また、排気通路22よりも下流側には、オイル落とし通路16と1つのヘッドボルト挿通穴15とが近接して配置されている。オイル落とし通路16と1つのヘッドボルト挿通穴15とは共通ボス部27に形成されており、共通ボス部27は、排気側の上下ウォータジャケット34,30の箇所では、全周が冷却水に晒される柱状ボス体27aになっている。【選択図】図5
