Summary: | To reduce the size of a vehicle drive device in the axial direction.SOLUTION: In a vehicle drive device 100, when expressing: a first ring gear 12 and a second sun gear 21, which are connected with each other to be integrally rotatable, as a first rotating element T1; a first carrier 14 as a second rotating element T2; a first sun gear 11 and a second carrier 24, which are connected with each other to be integrally rotatable, as a third rotating element T3; and a second ring gear 22 as a fourth rotating element T4, the first rotating element, the second rotating element, the third rotating element and the fourth rotating element T4 are configured such that respective rotation speeds of them satisfy a collinear relationship in which the respective rotation speeds are arranged in this order in a collinear figure. The first rotating element T1 is connected to a first motor 2, the second rotating element T2 is connected to an output member 8 that transmits power to drive wheels, the third rotating element T3 is connected to an internal combustion engine 1, and the fourth rotating element T4 is connected to a second motor 3. A first planetary gear mechanism 10 is located inside a rotor 2r of the first motor 2, and a second planetary gear mechanism 20 is located inside a rotor 3r of the second motor 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
