Summary:To provide an organic EL display having an organic EL element of an electrode construction comprising both a light emission function and a touch detection function and a specific control circuit stricture, and capable of achieving a small form and reduction in thickness and achieving simplification of process, and to provide a smart device and a lighting apparatus having the same.SOLUTION: An organic EL display has a touch detection function, and includes a light emission element driving circuit unit that drives a touch detection circuit unit and an organic EL panel. The organic EL panel has a pair of electrodes at a position opposite to an inner part. The pair of electrodes are connected to the light emission element driving circuit unit, and any one of the pair of electrodes is a touch detection electrode. The touch detection electrode is connected to the touch detection circuit unit, and the touch detection circuit unit and the light emission driving circuit unit are connected to independent grounds, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】本発明の課題は、発光機能とタッチ検出機能を兼ね備えた電極構成の有機EL素子と、特定の制御回路構成を有し、スモールフォーマット化及び薄膜化を達成し、工程の簡素化が達成することができる有機ELディスプレイと、それを具備したスマートデバイス及び照明装置を提供することである。【解決手段】本発明の有機ELディスプレイは、タッチ検出機能を有し、タッチ検出回路ユニットと有機ELパネルを駆動する発光素子駆動回路ユニットとを有し、前記有機ELパネルは、内部の対向する位置に一対の電極を有し、一対の電極が発光素子駆動回路ユニットに接続され、かつ一対の電極のいずれか一方がタッチ検出電極であり、当該タッチ検出電極がタッチ検出回路ユニットに接続され、タッチ検出回路ユニットと発光素子駆動回路ユニットとが、それぞれ独立したグランドに接続されていることを特徴とする。【選択図】図3
