Summary:To provide an optimal imaging system that has a lens surface projected from a housing body.SOLUTION: An imaging system 10 according to the present embodiment comprises: an imaging body 12 that combines a plurality of optical systems 20A and 20B for capturing an image in a different direction and a plurality of solid state image pick-up elements 24A and 24B corresponding to the plurality of optical systems 20A and 20B; electric power supply means 14 that supplies electric power to the plurality of solid state image pick-up elements 24A and 24B; and a housing 18 that has a holding part for holding the imaging body 12 and a main body part holding the electric power supply means 14. The imaging system is configured to project, in a different direction, optical elements LA1 and LB1 positioned on at least a most subject side respectively owned by the plurality of optical systems 20A and 20B further than a housing surface where the main body part of the housing 18 is positioned.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】 レンズ面が筐体から突出している好適な撮像システムを提供すること。
