Summary:To provide a scanning display device and a scanning display system which can suppress generation of an uneven luminance in a displayed image.SOLUTION: A scanning display device 1 includes a light source 2, a light collecting unit 6, a light scanning unit 3, and a light diffusion unit 4. The light diffusion unit 4 is formed so that the arrangement pitch is a value set according to the relation of P≥(4λL)/(πM), in which λ denotes the wavelength of a laser light L1, M denotes the effective opening diameter of the light scanning unit 3, L denotes the distance between the light scanning unit 3 and the light diffusion unit 4, and P denotes the arrangement pitch of a plurality of light diffusion channels 4a in the light diffusion unit 4.
