Summary:To provide a collected current monitoring device capable of performing collected current regulation corresponding to an abnormality in an overhead power line irrespective of the magnitude of the collected current.SOLUTION: There is provided a collected current monitoring device installed in a railway vehicle equipped with a first current collector and a second current collector. The collected current monitoring device includes a detection unit for detecting a first current flowing through the first current collector and a second current flowing through the second current collector, and a determination unit for determining whether or not the collected current in the railway vehicle needs to be regulated on the basis of the first current and the second current detected by the detection unit. The determination unit determines that the collected current needs to be regulated when the sum of a first non-energized time when the first current is not flowing and a second non-energized time when the second current is not flowing in a fixed tallying time exceeds a threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】集電電流の大きさに関わらず、架線の異常に対応した集電電流規制が可能な集電電流監視装置を提供する。【解決手段】本開示は、第1集電装置と第2集電装置とを備える鉄道車両に設置される集電電流監視装置である。集電電流監視装置は、第1集電装置に流れる第1電流と第2集電装置に流れる第2電流とを検知する検知部と、検知部が検知した第1電流と第2電流とに基づいて鉄道車両の集電電流に対する規制の必要性を判定する判定部と、を備える。判定部は、一定の集計時間における第1電流が流れていない第1非通電時間と第2電流が流れていない第2非通電時間との和が閾値を超えた場合に、集電電流に対する規制が必要と判定する。【選択図】図1
