Summary:To provide a cut-off electric wire which can cut-off water without performing a peeling-off work and has excellent cut-off performance.SOLUTION: A cut-off electric wire 1 includes a conductor 2 formed of a plurality of conductor element wires 21, an insulator 3 covering the conductor 2, a through hole 31 penetrating through the insulator 3, and a cut-off material 4 which fills inside of a hole of the through hole 31, a gap 30 between an outer surface of the conductor 2 and the insulator 3, and a gap 20 between the conductor element wires 21. The cut-off material 4 is formed of a thermosetting resin or thermosetting elastomer.
