Summary:To provide an electronic device which achieves efficient prevention against interruption by a third party to communication.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, an electronic device comprises a first device, a second device, a storage area, and a Mailbox communication control unit. The first device stores first data in the storage area and requests the Mailbox communication control unit to generate a Mailbox transmission signal. The Mailbox communication control unit generates the Mailbox transmission signal and stores an identifier of the first device. The second device reads the identifier of the first device from the Mailbox communication control unit, compares the read identifier and an identifier stored in the second device, and determines propriety of acquisition of the first data from the storage area.
