To provide a drive force control device which can effectively prevent the erroneous detection of a following abnormality of an actual opening with respect to a target opening of a throttle valve when controlling a drive force of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A drive force control device 8 comprises: a control part 83a for performing drive force control processing for temporarily changing a drive force of an engine by controlling a motor drive circuit 82 so that a throttle opening coincides with a target opening by temporarily changing the target opening of a throttle valve 21; and a determination part 83b for performing following abnormality determination processing for determining an abnormality of a drive system of the throttle valve 21 when a time in a state that an absolute value of an opening deviation between the target opening and the actual opening of the throttle valve 21 is larger than a prescribed determination value reaches a prescribed determination time or longer.
