Summary:To provide a light-emitting device and an electronic apparatus capable of suppressing degradation in image quality under a high-resolution condition.SOLUTION: The light-emitting device in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a plurality of pixels each composed of a plurality of sub-pixels having different emission colors from one another; and a light-shielding film having a plurality of openings having different opening widths from one another provided at positions respectively facing the sub-pixels via a predetermined gap. The opening widths in a first direction and a second direction of each opening are controlled to such sizes that 45° luminance viewing angles (cd/m) in the first direction and the second direction are different from each other because the light emitted from each sub-pixel is partially blocked by the light-shielding film.
