Summary:To provide an auger-type ice making machine capable of minimizing a risk of intrusion of a combustible refrigerant into an electric equipment box.SOLUTION: An auger-type ice making machine includes a compressor CM, a condenser CD, an expansion valve EX, an evaporation tube EV, refrigerant piping 62 for communicating and connecting them, an ice making cylinder 42 on which the evaporation tube EV is wound at an outer periphery, and in which an auger 44 is rotatably disposed, a geared motor GM for driving the auger 44, an air-cooling fan 32 for air-cooling the condenser CD, an electric equipment box 56 for controlling an electric system, and a machine chamber 14 for housing these members. As a lower limit T1 of the electric equipment box 56 is higher than an upper limit T2 of the refrigerant piping 62, intrusion of a combustible refrigerant leaking out from the refrigerant piping, into the electric equipment box can be prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】電装箱内に可燃性冷媒が侵入する可能性を最小限に抑えることが可能なオーガ式製氷機を提供する。【解決手段】オーガ式製氷機は、圧縮機CMと、凝縮器CDと、膨張弁EXと、蒸発管EVと、これらを連通接続する冷媒配管62と、蒸発管EVが外周に巻き付けられて内部にオーガ44を回転自在に配置した製氷シリンダ42と、オーガ44を駆動するギヤードモータGMと、凝縮器CDを空冷する空冷ファン32と、電気系統を制御する電装箱56と、これらの諸部材を収納する機械室14とからなる。そして、電装箱56の下限T1を冷媒配管62の上限T2より高くすることで、冷媒配管から漏出する可燃性冷媒の電装箱内への侵入を防止し得るように構成されている。【選択図】図5
