Summary:To combine improvement in printing density with productivity (printing speed).SOLUTION: The ink ejection device comprises a line head, a movement part and a control part. The movement part moves the line head in a conveyance direction (a Y-axis direction) of a recording medium, the conveyance direction being a direction settled when a printing surface of the recording medium printing is defined as a front surface. The control part causes the movement part to fix a position of the line head and causes the line head to eject ink during conveyance of the recording medium.
