Summary:To obtain a high-quality image.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes a transmitting and receiving part and a synthesizing part. The transmitting and receiving part continuously transmits a first transmission beam group and a second transmission beam group via an ultrasonic probe including a plurality of transducers provided along the azimuth direction and the elevation direction, and receives at least one receive beam for each transmission beam. The synthesizing part synthesizes a first reception beam on the basis of a first transmission beam included in the first transmission beam group and a second reception beam on the basis of a second transmission beam included in the second transmission beam group.
