To provide a ceiling fan enabling comfortable operation for a user upon automatically changing air volume with a human detection unit.SOLUTION: When the operation of the motor is determined, in addition to an activity amount calculated from the detection state of a human detection unit, an air volume maintaining period in which air volume is not changed due to a change in the activity amount is provided. In other words, even if there is a change in the activity amount, the air volume is kept unchanged, so that the air volume is frequently changed when the activity amount changes drastically, and thus it is possible to obtain a ceiling fan that can reduce the user's trouble and can operate comfortably.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】人検知部を用いた風量自動変更の運転を行う際に、ユーザにとってより快適な運転を行う天井扇風機を提供する。【解決手段】モータの動作決定時に、人検知部の検知状態から算出する活動量に加えて、活動量変化による風量変更を行わない風量維持期間を設ける。つまり、風量変更から所定の期間は活動量に変化があっても風量を変化させないことにより、活動量の変化が激しい場合に風量が頻繁に変更され、ユーザが煩わしさを低減し、快適な運転が可能な天井扇風機を得られる。【選択図】図２
