To provide a technique capable of inhibiting closing members from melting and being released to the outside of a housing during the burning of a gas generating agent while the closing members close gas discharge ports of a gas generator.SOLUTION: The gas discharge port comprises: a housing; a combustion chamber filled with a gas generation agent to be burned by an ignition device accommodated in the housing; a plurality of gas discharge ports provided on wall surfaces that define the combustion chamber and communicating between the inside and outside of the combustion chamber; and a plurality of closing members that close their respective gas discharge ports. Each of the plurality of closing members includes: a covering region that covers the gas discharge port; and a joining region that is joined to the wall surface of the housing and that is adjacent to and surrounds the covering region.
