Summary: | To easily evaluate whether an additive is proper for bonding between a rubber material, obtained by vulcanizing a rubber composition to which an additive is added, and a metal material.SOLUTION: An evaluation method for an additive includes evaluating whether the additive is proper for bonding between a rubber material, obtained by vulcanizing a rubber composition to which an additive is added, and a metal material, a surface of the metal material bonded to the rubber material including copper. The evaluation method comprises: heating a body to be tested, obtained by sticking a mixture including a transparent liquid organic material and the additive on the surface of the metal material instead of the rubber material, at the predetermined temperature for the predetermined time, the organic material being transparent even after the heating; further dipping the body to be tested after the heating in water of room temperature or higher; and evaluating whether the additive is proper based upon the ratio of a corrosion region having corroded during the dipping to the surface of the metal material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】添加剤を添加したゴム組成物を加硫させたゴム材料と金属材料との接着に関する当該添加剤の適否を簡易に評価する。【解決手段】添加剤の評価方法は、添加剤を添加したゴム組成物を所定の時間及び温度で加硫させたゴム材料と金属材料との接着に関する前記添加剤の適否を評価する方法である。前記ゴム材料と接着される前記金属材料の表面は銅を含む表面である。当該評価方法では、透明な液状の有機材料と、前記添加剤と、を含む混合物を、前記ゴム材料の代わりに前記金属材料の前記表面に付着させた被試験体を、前記所定の時間及び温度で加熱し、前記有機材料は前記加熱後も透明であり、さらに、加熱後の前記被試験体を室温以上の水に浸漬し、前記金属材料の前記表面に占める、前記浸漬によって腐食した腐食領域の割合に基づいて、前記添加剤の適否を評価する、ことを特徴とする。【選択図】図1 |
