Summary:To provide a reaction device capable of suppressing reduction of a mixing performance of a polymerization liquid while increasing the number of a heat transfer pipe.SOLUTION: There is provided a polymerization device having a reaction tank accommodating a polymerization liquid and conducting a polymerization reaction, a stirring blade stirring the polymerization liquid accommodated in the reaction tank, a plurality of heat transfer pipes transferring heat for initiating and processing with the polymerization reaction to the polymerization liquid, or removing heat generated by the polymerization reaction from the polymerization liquid, a baffle arranged between a tank wall of the reaction tank and the heat transfer pipes. The plurality of heat transfer pipes are arranged in a periphery shape around the stirring blade, including a heat transfer pipe arranged at a position that the lower end is higher than a bottom of the reaction tank, and limiting flow rate of the polymerization liquid to the tank wall side from inside of the reaction tank in depth where the heat transfer pipes are arranged, the baffle changes a circulation direction of the polymerization liquid flowed in between the tank wall of the reaction tank and the heat transfer pipes arranged in the periphery shape, and generates a flow of the polymerization liquid to an inside direction of the reaction tank.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】伝熱管の数を増やしつつ重合液の混合能力の低下を抑制できる反応装置を提供すること。【解決手段】重合液が収容され、重合反応が行われる反応槽と、前記反応槽に収容された前記重合液を撹拌する撹拌翼と、前記重合反応を開始および進行させるための熱を前記重合液に伝達し、または前記重合反応により生成した熱を前記重合液から除去する、複数の伝熱管と、前記反応槽の槽壁と前記伝熱管との間に配置されたバッフルと、を有する重合装置。前記複数の伝熱管は、前記撹拌翼の周囲に円周状に配置され、かつ、その下端が前記反応槽の底面より高くなる位置に配置された伝熱管を含んで、前記伝熱管が配置された深さにおける前記反応槽の内部側から槽壁側への前記重合液の流通量を制限し、前記バッフルは、前記反応槽の槽壁と前記円周状に配置された伝熱管との間に流入した前記重合液の流通方向を変更し、前記反応槽の内部方向への前記重合液の流れを生成する。【選択図】図2
