Summary:To provide an overturn prevention device capable of expanding a mountable range by further increasing a ratio of a stroke range of a damper to an overall length.SOLUTION: An overturn prevention device 1 includes a damper 10. The damper 10 includes a cylinder 11, a moving member 12, an attenuation force generation part 13, and an energizing member 14. The moving member 12 is partly inserted into the cylinder 11 and makes a reciprocating movement in an axial direction of the cylinder 11. The attenuation force generation part 13 generates attenuation force along with the reciprocating movement of the moving member 12. The energizing member 14 is disposed in the cylinder 11, and gives force to move the moving member 12 in a direction to project from the cylinder 11. In the damper 10, when a positional relationship between a ceiling C and furniture F changes, the moving member 12 inserted into the cylinder 11 moves in the cylinder 11 to expand and contract. The moving member 12 includes a recess 12C. The recess 12C houses at least part of the energizing member 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】全長に対するダンパのストローク範囲の割合をより大きくして取付可能範囲の拡大を図ることができる転倒防止装置を提供する。【解決手段】転倒防止装置1はダンパ10を備えている。ダンパ10は、シリンダ11、移動部材12、減衰力発生部13、及び付勢部材14を有している。移動部材12は、シリンダ11内に一部が挿入され、シリンダ11の軸方向に往復移動する。減衰力発生部13は、移動部材12の往復移動に伴って減衰力を発生する。付勢部材14は、シリンダ11内に配置され、シリンダ11から突出する方向に移動部材12を移動させる力を付与する。そして、ダンパ10は、天井Cと家具Fとの位置関係が変化したときに、シリンダ11に挿入された移動部材12がシリンダ11内を移動して伸縮する。また、移動部材12は凹部12Cを具備している。凹部12Cは付勢部材14の少なくとも一部を収容する。【選択図】図1
