Summary:To reduce power consumption for cooling.SOLUTION: Fans 11, 12, 13 are arranged in line to cool multiple areas in a housing. A processing unit 18 acquires component information D1 which indicates components 14, 15, 16 mounted on each of the areas and quantity of heat generated by the components 14, 15, 16, and load information D2 indicating loads of the components 14, 15, 16. The processing unit 18 evaluates, for each fan, a first cooling effect of the fan in a current direction and a second cooling effect of the fan to be obtained when facing different areas from the area the fan faces, on the basis of the component information D1 and the load information D2. The processing unit 18 selects the fan 11 of which the second cooling effect is higher than the first cooling effect, to direct the fan 11 to face another area, and reduces a rotation speed of the fan 12 facing the other area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】冷却のための消費電力を低減すること。【解決手段】ファン11,12,13は、一列に並べて配置され、筐体内の複数のエリアを冷却する。処理部18は、複数のエリアそれぞれに搭載された部品14,15,16および部品14,15,16の発熱量を示す部品情報D1と、部品14,15,16の負荷を示す負荷情報D2とを取得する。処理部18は、部品情報D1および負荷情報D2に基づいて、現在の向きでのファンの第1の冷却効果と当該ファンが向けられたエリアとは異なる他のエリアに当該ファンを向けた場合の当該ファンの第2の冷却効果とをファン毎に評価する。処理部18は、第2の冷却効果が第1の冷却効果よりも高いファン11を選択し、ファン11を他のエリアに向け、他のエリアに向けられたファン12の回転数を下げる。【選択図】図1
