Summary: | To provide a quantum dot sheet which enables diversifying a substrate material forming quantum dots and of which characteristics and a structure are stable.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method forms quantum dots on an inorganic dielectric thin film on a substrate by a molecular beam deposition method, forms a laminate including a quantum dot layer by coating the quantum dots with a second inorganic dielectric thin film, and manufactures a quantum dot sheet by separating the laminate for the substrate. 【課題】量子ドットを形成する基板材料の多様化を可能にし、かつ特性と構造の安定した量子ドットシートを提供する。【解決手段】基板上の無機誘電体薄膜の上に分子線堆積法により量子ドットを形成し、前記量子ドットを第2の無機誘電体薄膜で被覆して量子ドット層を含む積層体を形成し、前記積層体を前記基板から分離することで量子ドットシートを作製する。基板として層状物質の基板を用いる場合は、劈開によって前記積層体を前記基板から分離してもよい。【選択図】図2 |
