Summary:To provide a frictional damper made of wood and having a high reliability for maintaining a clamping force for a long time period, and a wall surface body having the frictional damper.SOLUTION: The frictional damper comprises a friction member, a plate member, and a fastener. The friction member is made of wood, arranged integrally with one member along a facing part facing the other member, and having a groove extending in a predetermined direction formed thereon. Both sides of the groove act as sandwiching parts. Both sandwiching parts are provided with a wooden orthogonal part. The plate member is made of metal, arranged integrally with the other member along a facing part facing the one member, having a long hole extending in a predetermined direction formed thereon, and inserted into the groove of the friction member so as to be sandwiched by both sandwiching parts. The fastener is arranged along a facing part of the one member and the other member, penetrates both sandwiching parts of the friction member and the long hole of the plate member, and fastens both sandwiching parts in a direction approaching one another. Both sandwiching parts press the plate member from both sides. A direction of a clamping force by the fastener is parallel with a fiber direction of the orthogonal part. A direction of a frictional force generated in orthogonal direction to the clamping force by the fastener is parallel with a fiber direction of the friction member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】 木材を用いるものであって、長期的な圧締力維持の信頼性の高い摩擦ダンパおよびこの摩擦ダンパを設けた壁面体を提供する。【解決手段】 摩擦材と、板材と、締付具を備え、摩擦材が、木製で、一方部材と一体に、他方部材に対する対向部に沿って設けてあり、所定方向に延びる溝部を形成してあって、溝部の両側が挟持部になっており、両挟持部は木製の直交部を備え、板材が、金属製で、他方部材と一体に、一方部材に対する対向部に沿って設けてあり、所定方向に延びる長孔を形成してあって、摩擦材の溝部に挿入されて両挟持部に挟まれており、締付具が、一方部材と他方部材の対向部に沿って設けてあって、摩擦材の両挟持部と板材の長孔を貫通していて、両挟持部を互いに近づける方向に締め付けており、両挟持部が板材を両側から押圧し、締付具による圧締力の働く方向と直交部の繊維方向が平行であり、締付具による圧締力に直交して生じる摩擦力の働く方向と摩擦材の繊維方向が平行である。【選択図】 図3
