Summary:To provide a fuel injection device capable of suppressing the valve opening delay of an opening/closing member while suppressing the attitude destabilization of the opening/closing member.SOLUTION: A fuel injection device 1 includes a body 10, a needle 70, and a movable plate 50. The body 10 is formed with an injection hole 23 from which fuel is injected, a control chamber 30 in which the fuel is filled, and an inflow passage 24 through which the fuel flows into the control chamber 30. The needle 70 closes the injection hole 23 with the fuel flowing into the control chamber 30. The movable plate 50 can move between a valve closing position where the inflow passage 24 is closed and a valve opening position where the inflow passage 24 is opened.
