To provide an arm cover and a jacket capable of reducing of an exposure of the back of the hand, particularly a base part of the thumb from the thumb opening part to outside even when worn for a long time period.SOLUTION: An arm cover 1 for covering an arm part and at least a part of the back of the hand comprises a cylindrical arm cover body 2 and a cuff 3 arranged at a cuff of the arm cover body 2 and on a back side of the hand of the cuff 3 a thumb opening part 4 opening in a width direction is arranged at a place where an outer fabric Bx and an inner fabric Cx partly overlap. A jacket with the cuff covering at least a part of the back of the hand has the thumb opening part opening in a width direction provided at a place where the outer fabric and the inner fabric partly overlap on the back side of the hand of the cuff.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】長期間着用した場合でも、手の甲部分、特に親指の根本部が親指開口部から外部に露出することを低減することができるアームカバー及び上衣を提供する。【解決手段】本発明は、腕部及び手の甲の少なくとも一部を覆うアームカバー１であって、アームカバー１は、筒状のアームカバー本体２と、アームカバー本体２の袖口に設けられた袖口カフス３を備えており、袖口カフス３の手の裏側には、外側生地Ｂｘと内側生地Ｃｘが部分的に重なっている箇所に、幅方向に開口した親指開口部４が設けられているアームカバー１に関する。本発明は、また、手の甲の少なくとも一部を覆う袖口カフスを備えた上衣であって、前記袖口カフスの手の裏側には、外側生地と内側生地が部分的に重なっている箇所に、幅方向に開口した親指開口部が設けられている上衣に関する。【選択図】図１
