Summary: | To provide an air bag device which is excellent in retaining the shape of deployed bags thereof and is capable of appropriately absorbing an impact in a case of a collision with a protection target and restraining the protection target having been knocked up onto a hood from slipping off forward.SOLUTION: An air bag device 20 has a bag unit 22 configured to be deployed on a front part of a vehicle body with a gas supplied from an inflator 21. The bag unit 22 includes a first bag 23, a second bag 24, and a connector, which are annularly connected to one another. The first bag 23 and the second bag 24 are configured to be erected on the vehicle body into a mountain-like shape in such a way to form a substantially triangular shape.
