Summary:To provide a technique which does not use a complicated mechanical structure and keeps a static eliminating function without being deteriorated even by repeated use.SOLUTION: A processor according to the present disclosure is, for example, a processor that is connected to an endoscope and processes an image sent from the endoscope. The processor comprises: a connector part to which the endoscope is connected; a front panel that has an opening portion for exposing the connector part to the outside; and a metallic lightning protection member that is provided near the connector part and grounded.
