Summary:To provide a shunt resistor capable of easily performing an adjustment to a desired resistance value without a local strength deterioration without generating an unnecessary object such as a cutting dust or die cutting piece or the like.SOLUTION: A shunt resistor comprises: a pair of electrode plates 10A separated from each other to a plate surface direction; and a resistance ally plate 20A coupling the pair of electrode plates. The resistance ally plate forms a convex part 35 in a cross-section along a direction orthogonal to a plate surface, and has a ridge part extended to a conductive direction directing from one of the pair of electrode plates to the other. All of the alloy member containing the ridge part is positioned in an inner space 90 nipped with an opposite end surface 15 of the pair of electrode plates.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】削りカスや打ち抜き片等の不要物を生成せず且つ局所的な強度劣化を招くことなく、所望抵抗値への調整を容易に行えるシャント抵抗器を提供する。【解決手段】シャント抵抗器は、互いに対して板面方向に離間された一対の電極板材10Aと、前記一対の電極板材を連結する抵抗合金板材20Aとを備える。前記抵抗合金板材は、板面と直交する方向に沿った断面において凸部35を形成し、且つ、一対の電極板材の一方から他方に向かう通電方向に延びる畝部を有している。畝部を含む合金部材の全体が、一対の電極板材の対向端面15によって挟まれる空間内90に位置している。【選択図】図6
