To inhibit double-sided printing when a fan of an ejection unit removably attached to an image forming apparatus fails.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 comprises: both sides inversion means 180 that inverts a sheet for forming images on both side of the sheet; a first inversion guide 172 into which the sheet is temporarily inserted by a both sides inversion means; a first tray 160 to which the sheet is ejected; an attachment part 1b to which an ejection unit 2 is removably attached; and a control section 200. The ejection unit has a second tray 161 to which a sheet is ejected, a second inversion guide 170 into which the sheet is temporarily inserted by the both sides inversion means, and a fan 171 that blows air to the second inversion guide.
