To provide a novel method for manufacturing a polyphenol composition from bagasse.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a polyphenol composition from bagasse, having a process for pre-treating the bagasse by using at least one kind of alkali solution selected from a group consisting of a sodium hydroxide solution, potassium hydroxide solution, and an ammonia solution to obtain a pre-treatment liquid, and a process for adjusting pH of the pre-treatment liquid to an acidity by hydrochloric acid and then filtering the same to recover a filtrate, and a process for passing the filtrate through a column to which an aromatic synthetic adsorbent is filled, eluting a component absorbed to the aromatic synthetic adsorbent with a mixed solvent of ethanol and water to obtain an elution fraction as a polyphenol composition.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】バガスからポリフェノール組成物を製造するための新規な方法を提供すること【解決手段】バガスからのポリフェノール組成物の製造方法であって、水酸化ナトリウム水溶液、水酸化カリウム水溶液、及びアンモニア水溶液からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも１種のアルカリ溶液を用いてバガスを前処理し、前処理液を得る工程と、前処理液のｐＨを塩酸で酸性に調整してからろ過し、ろ液を回収する工程と、ろ液を、芳香族系合成吸着剤が充填されたカラムに通液し、芳香族系合成吸着剤に吸着した成分をエタノール及び水の混合溶媒で溶出して溶出画分をポリフェノール組成物として得る工程と、を備える、製造方法。【選択図】なし
