Summary:To provide a manufacturing method of composite oxide powder for sintering, which synthesizes a garnet type rare-earth composite oxide powder in which four constituent elements consisting of: Tb; at least one rare-earth element selected from the group of Y and lanthanoid rare earths (excluding Tb); Al; and Sc, are all uniformly distributed.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of composite oxide powder for sintering includes: adding an aqueous solution containing (a) a Tb ion, (b) at least one rare-earth ion selected from the group of a Y ion and lanthanoid rare-earth ions (excluding a Tb ion), (c) an Al ion, and (d) an Sc ion to an aqueous solution for coprecipitation; agitating it in the solution temperature of 50°C or less to make the above (a), (b), (c) and (d) components coprecipitate; and firing the same coprecipitate in the temperature of 1000°C or more and 1300°C or less after filtering, heating and dehydrating it to obtain a powder for sintering composed of a garnet type composite oxide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】 Tb、Y及びランタノイド希土類(Tbを除く)の群から選ばれる少なくとも1種のその他の希土類元素、Al及びScの4種類の構成元素がすべて均一に分布したガーネット型希土類複合酸化物粉末を合成する焼結用複合酸化物粉末の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】 (a)Tbイオン、(b)Yイオン及びランタノイド希土類イオン(Tbイオンを除く)の群から選ばれる少なくとも1種のその他の希土類イオン、(c)Alイオン及び(d)Scイオンを含む水溶液を共沈用水溶液に添加し液温50℃以下で撹拌して、上記(a)、(b)、(c)及び(d)成分を共沈させた状態とし、その共沈物をろ別、加熱脱水した後、1000℃以上1300℃以下で焼成してガーネット型複合酸化物からなる焼結用粉末を得る。【選択図】 図1
