Summary:SOLUTION: The method for producing an olefin-based resin comprises copolymerizing ethylene with at least one kind of α-olefin selected from 3-12C α-olefins in the presence of a polymerization catalyst including: [A] a transition metal compound of group 4 of the Periodic Table which includes a ligand having a dimethylsilyl bisindenyl skeleton; and [B] a crosslinked metallocene compound having a specific structure in a single reactor to produce an olefin-based resin satisfying requirements (I) to (IV) as given below: (I) the olefin-based resin includes [R1] a graft type olefin-based polymer composed of a main chain and a side chain; (II) the ratio of a repeating unit derived from ethylene is in the range of 50 to 90 mol% based on the total repeating units and the ratio of a repeating unit derived from at least one kind of α-olefin selected from 3-12C α-olefins is in the range of 10 to 50 mol% based on the total repeating units (provided that the total of the repeating unit derived from ethylene and the repeating unit derived from 3-12C α-olefins is 100 mol%); (III) the melting point (Tm) as measured by a differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis is in the range of 0 to 100°C; and (IV) the intrinsic viscosity [η] as measured in decalin at 135°C is in the range of 0.1 to 10 dl/g.EFFECT: According to the present invention, an olefin-based resin including a graft type olefin polymer being an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer whose side chain is amorphous can be directly produced from a monomer by one polymerization process in a single reactor and can be produced in a simple way.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【解決手段】ジメチルシリルビスインデニル骨格を有する配位子を含む周期表第4族の遷移金属化合物[A]および特定構造の架橋メタロセン化合物[B]を含む重合触媒の存在下、単一の反応器で、エチレンと、炭素原子数3〜12のα−オレフィンから選ばれる少なくとも1種のα−オレフィンとを共重合させ、以下の要件(I)〜(IV)を満たすオレフィン系樹脂を製造するオレフィン系樹脂の製造方法。(I)主鎖および側鎖から構成されるグラフト型オレフィン系重合体[R1]を含む。(II)エチレンから導かれる繰り返し単位の割合が全繰り返し単位に対し50〜90mol%の範囲にあり、炭素原子数3〜12のα−オレフィンから選ばれる少なくとも1種のα−オレフィンから導かれる繰り返し単位の割合が全繰り返し単位に対し10〜50mol%(ただしエチレンから導かれる繰り返し単位と、炭素原子数3〜12のα−オレフィンから導かれる繰り返し単位との合計を100mol%とする)の範囲にある。(III)示差走査熱量分析(DSC)によって測定された融点(Tm)が0〜100℃の範囲にある。(IV)135℃のデカリン中で測定した極限粘度[η]が0.1〜10dl/gの範囲にある。【効果】本発明により、側鎖が非晶性であるエチレン・α−オレフィン共重合体であるグラフト型オレフィン重合体を含むオレフィン系樹脂を、モノマーから単一反応器で一つの重合工程により直接製造することができ、簡易に製造できる。【選択図】なし
