Summary:To determine an axial position of a cover member relative to a stator with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A stator unit 102 includes: a stator 20 which drives a rotor 101 which may rotate around a center axis CA extending in a vertical direction; a cover member 30 which houses the stator 20; and a filling part 50 filling a space between the cover member 30 and the stator 20. The cover member 30 has: a cylinder part 31 which extends in an axial direction and covers a radial side surface part of the stator 20 facing the rotor 101 in a radial direction; a lid part 32 which covers an axial upper end part of the stator 20; and a cover step part 33 provided closer to one side as seen in a radial direction than the cylinder part 31.
