To provide a light source device that can simplify a device structure and a manufacturing process.SOLUTION: An illuminating device according to the present invention comprises: a board comprising a first surface; a plurality of light emitting elements provided on the side of the first surface of the board; a frame body provided so as to surround the plurality of light emitting elements, and joined to the side of the first surface of the board; and a lid body comprising a translucent member for transmitting light emitted from the plurality of light emitting elements, provided opposite to the first surface of the board, and joined to the side opposite to the board with respect to the frame body. The plurality of light emitting elements are housed in a housing space formed by the board, the frame body, and the lid body.
