Summary: | To provide an organic EL display panel that has both a functional layer formed through a wet process and a reflector, and can keep the uniformity in film thickness and opening ratio of the functional layer high.SOLUTION: There is provided an organic EL display panel which has a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix, and comprises: a substrate; a plurality of pixel electrodes provided by pixels above the substrate; an insulation layer which is arranged to cover the plurality of pixel electrodes from above, respectively, and has three or more slit openings bored in a column direction to extend in the column direction; a plurality of partition walls which extend in the column direction to section the pixel electrodes in the column direction; an organic functional layer which is arranged above the plurality of pixel electrodes, and includes an organic light emitting layer generating electric-field light in the respective openings; and a translucent opposite electrode which is arranged above the plurality of organic functional layers. Upper surfaces of the partition walls are higher in height than an upper surface of the insulation layer, and an opening which adjoins a partition wall in a row direction is larger in column-directional width than an opening which does not adjoin a partition wall in the row direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】ウェットプロセスで形成された機能層とリフレクタを共に有しており、かつ機能層の膜厚の均一性と開口率とを共に高く維持することのできる有機EL表示パネルを供給する。【解決手段】複数の画素が行列状に配された有機EL表示パネルであって、基板と、基板上方に画素ごとに設けられた複数の画素電極と、複数の画素電極のそれぞれの上方を被覆するように配され、列方向に延伸するスリット状の開口が列方向に3以上開設された絶縁層と、列方向に延伸し、画素電極を行方向に区画する複数の隔壁と、複数の画素電極の上方に配され、開口のそれぞれの内部において電界発光を生ずる有機発光層を含む有機機能層と、複数の有機機能層の上方に配された透光性の対向電極とを備え、隔壁の上面の高さは、絶縁層の上面の高さよりも高く、隔壁に行方向に隣接する開口の行方向の幅は、隔壁に行方向に隣接しない開口の行方向の幅より大きい。【選択図】図3 |
