To provide a display device capable of suppressing degradation in display quality.SOLUTION: A display device includes: a first substrate; a second substrate facing the first substrate; a liquid crystal layer located between the first substrate and the second substrate; a plurality of first light-emitting elements; a first light guide plate having a first main surface facing the first substrate, a second main surface located opposite to the first main surface, a first end facing the plurality of first light-emitting elements, and a second end located opposite to the first end; a first layer disposed in contact with the first main surface and adjacent to the first end between the liquid crystal layer and the first light guide plate; and a second layer disposed in contact with the first main surface and located between the first layer and the second end.
