Summary:To cause a gas-liquid phase change of condensable fluid to be generated continuously in a thermoacoustic device using condensable fluid.SOLUTION: A thermoacoustic device includes; acoustic transmission pipes 101, 201, and 300 in which working fluid is encapsulated; an energy conversion part 102a provided in the acoustic transmission pipe 101 for converting thermal energy to acoustic energy by forming a predetermined difference in temperature between one end part and the other end part; an energy consumption part 202a provided in the acoustic transmission pipe 201 for converting the acoustic energy to a different kind of energy; and a partition wall part 103 provided between the energy conversion part 102a in the acoustic transmission pipe 101 and the energy consumption part 202a.
