Summary:To provide a joint for a synthetic resin pipe that facilitates the mounting and removal of the synthetic resin pipe.SOLUTION: The joint for a synthetic resin pipe includes a cylindrical body part, a flange part formed at an end of the body part, an operating member mounted on the flange part, and an annular gripping member disposed between the flange part and the operating member, the gripping member being configured to grip a synthetic resin pipe that has been inserted from the side of the operating member. The operating member is in a cylindrical shape with the bottom and configured to house the gripping member and accept the synthetic resin pipe. The gripping member consists of multiple separate gripping members that are separate from each other in the circumferential direction. Each separate gripping member has multiple engaging teeth along the internal circumference. Projections are formed on one side of the opposite surfaces of the multiple separate gripping members on the inner bottom surface or the inner walls of the operating member to engage with circular grooves formed on the other side, which forms a cam mechanism. The cam mechanism changes the rotational operation of the operating member to the radial movement of the multiple separate gripping members and switches the state between a gripping state in which the multiple engaging teeth grip the synthetic resin pipe and a non-gripping state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】合成樹脂管を容易に着脱可能な合成樹脂管用継手を提供すること。【解決手段】合成樹脂管用継手は、円筒状の本体部の一端部に形成したフランジ部に操作部材が取り付けられ、操作部材側から差込まれた合成樹脂管をグリップする環状のグリップ部材をフランジ部と操作部材の間に備えている。有底円筒状の操作部材はグリップ部材を収容すると共に合成樹脂管を挿通させ、グリップ部材は周方向に分割された複数の分割グリップ部材で構成され、分割グリップ部材は内周部に複数の係合歯を備えている。操作部材の底壁部内壁又はその内壁に対向する複数の分割グリップ部材の対向面部の何れか一方に設けられた突起部を他方に設けられた円孔溝に係合させてカム機構が構成されている。カム機構が操作部材の回動操作を複数の分割グリップ部材の径方向の移動に変換して、複数の係合歯が合成樹脂管をグリップしたグリップ状態とグリップ解除状態とに切替える。【選択図】図2
