To provide a rear part vehicle body structure for a vehicle capable of reducing travel resistance caused by a rear flow vortex generated on a vehicle rear side.SOLUTION: A rear part vehicle body structure of a vehicle V includes: rear window glass 12; a spoiler 20 which covers an upper end side portion of the rear window glass 12; and a lift gate 1 which can open/close a rear cargo room opening. The spoiler 20 has a roof spoiler 21 extending to right and left sides and a pair of right and left side spoilers 22 which extends downward from both ends on right and left sides of the roof spoiler 21, respectively. A rear side edge section 22e of the side spoiler 22 is formed to extend upward from middle step sections of right and left ends of the rear window glass 12 and to be substantially orthogonal to a vehicle body longitudinal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】車両後方に生じる後流渦に起因した走行抵抗を低減することができる車両の後部車体構造を提供する。【解決手段】リヤウインドガラス１２とこのリヤウインドガラス１２の上端側部分を覆うスポイラ２０とを有し且つ後部荷室開口を開閉可能なリフトゲート１を備えた車両Ｖの後部車体構造において、スポイラ２０が、左右に延びるルーフスポイラ２１と、ルーフスポイラ２１の左右両端部から夫々下方に延びる左右１対のサイドスポイラ２２とを有し、サイドスポイラ２２の後側縁部２２ｅは、リヤウインドガラス１２の左右端部の中段部から上方に延び且つ車体前後方向に対して略直交するように形成されている。【選択図】 図１
