Summary:To provide a specific gravity fractionation device for resin and a specific gravity fractionation method for resin which always performs precisely fractionation even when rate of resin pieces of large specific weight and resin pieces of small specific weight is fluctuated with respect to the resin pieces different in specific weight supplied to a tank.SOLUTION: A specific gravity fractionation device 1 for resin includes a detection device 11 for detecting a height of a first interface which exhibits an upper surface of a layer M2 of resin pieces having small specific weight located on the upper side of a height of a tank 2, of the resin pieces different in specific weight supplied into the tank 2, and a detection device 12 for detecting a height of a second interface which exhibits an upper surface of a layer M3 of resin pieces having large specific weight located on the lower side of the height of the tank 2, of resin pieces different in specific weight. A control device 13 controls at least one in a drive amount of a driving motor 15, a discharge amount of resin pieces of large specific weight by means of a rotary valve 3 provided on a discharge port Em2 of the lower side of the tank 2 and supply speed of mixed resin pieces by means of a mixed resin pieces of supply device 4 based on positional information from a position sensor 16 and detection results of the detection devices 11, 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】槽に投入される比重の異なる樹脂片について、比重が大きい樹脂片と比重が小さい樹脂片との比率が変動しても、常に精度良く分別を実施する。【解決手段】樹脂用比重分別装置1は、槽2内に投入された比重の異なる樹脂片のうちの槽2の高さの上側に位置される比重の小さい樹脂片の層M2の上面を示す第1界面の高さを検出する検出装置11と、比重の異なる樹脂片のうちの槽2の高さの下側に位置される比重の大きい樹脂片の層M3の上面を示す第2界面の高さを検出する検出装置12と、を有する。制御装置13は、位置センサ16からの位置情報と検出装置11、12の検出結果とに基づいて、駆動モータ15の駆動量と、槽2の下方側の排出口Em2に設けられたロータリーバルブ3による比重の大きい樹脂片の排出量と、混合樹脂片投入装置4による混合樹脂片の投入速度と、における少なくとも一つを制御する。【選択図】図1
