Summary:To prevent coins from being jammed at an inlet of a coin container due to the concentration and stacking of the coins at a part inside the coin container.SOLUTION: A coin processing device 10 includes a coin carrying-in device 2, a coin container 30, a break-down member 34, and a break-down member driving mechanism 340. The coin carrying-in device 2 transports a coin 9 to a predetermined carrying-in position P0. The coin container 30 can store the coin 9 dropped from the carrying-in position P0. The break-down member 34 has a supported part 34a rotatably supported in an upper part of the coin container 30 and at least one action part 34b that revolves along a revolving route intersecting with a dropping route R31 of the coin 9 inside the coin container 30 with rotation of the supported part 34a.
