To provide a filter device capable of suppressing occurrence of air voids and preventing failure such as abnormal combustion of an engine resulting from the air voids.SOLUTION: A fuel filter 1 configured to allow fuel introduced from the outside to an inflow space 42A through an inflow passage 16 to pass through a filter material 52 of a filter element 50 and to flow out from an outflow space 42B to the outside through an outflow passage 17 comprises: a communication hole 21 having one end opened to the inflow passage 16 and the other end opened to the outflow passage 17; and a porous sintered metal body 20 provided in the communication hole 21 and having air permeability.
