Summary:To provide a carrier and the like capable of inhibiting a first roll's oblique feed of a recording medium carried from at least one transport path of a plurality of transport paths while securing transportability for a small-sized recording medium.SOLUTION: A carrier 6A comprises one pair of first rolls that feed a recording medium after abutted against at its tip, a plurality of transport paths, one pair of second rolls that are respectively arranged at a location distant upstream in a transport direction beyond a confluence location from the first rolls of a plurality of transport paths, and a plurality of auxiliary rolls 61-63 that are arranged at a location between a confluence location of a plurality of transport paths and the second rolls and aid in carrying the recording medium.
