Summary:To provide a carbon dioxide collection device capable of favorably efficiently carrying out gas-liquid contact while restraining pressure loss in a gas-liquid contact operation.SOLUTION: There is provided a carbon dioxide collection device having an absorber for absorbing carbon dioxide included in a gas into an absorbent, a regenerator for regenerating the absorbent by discharging carbon dioxide included in the absorbent, and a circulation mechanism for circulating the absorbent between the absorber and regenerator. At least one of the absorber and regenerator is a gas-liquid contact part allocated to plural steps arranged in a cross direction, and is configured into a horizontal multistage structure having a gas-liquid contact part having plural parallel vertical flat plates, and a liquid supply mechanism supplying the absorbent to the gas-liquid contact part on each of plural steps to distribute the absorbent sequentially along the arrangement of the steps.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】気液接触における圧力損失を抑制しつつ、良好且つ効率的な気液接触が可能な二酸化炭素の回収装置を提供する。【解決手段】二酸化炭素の回収装置は、ガスに含まれる二酸化炭素を吸収液に吸収させる吸収装置と、吸収液に含まれる二酸化炭素を放出させて吸収液を再生する再生装置と、吸収装置及び再生装置間で吸収液を循環させる循環機構とを有する二酸化炭素の回収装置である。吸収装置及び再生装置の少なくとも一方は、横方向に配列する複数の段に割り当てられる気液接触部であって、複数の段の各々に、並列する複数の鉛直な平板を有する気液接触部と、吸収液を気液接触部に供給して複数の段を配列に沿って順次流通させる液体供給機構とを有する横型多段構造に構成される。【選択図】図1
