To provide a heated water generator having a simple structure and a washing machine mounted with the same.SOLUTION: The washing machine comprises a housing 1, a water tub 5 arranged in the housing 1, a washing tub 7 arranged rotatably in the water tub 5, a motor 9 for rotationally driving the washing tub 7, water supply means for supplying a washing liquid into the water tub 5, a heating apparatus 19 arranged at an inner bottom part of the water tub 5 for heating the washing liquid, a temperature sensor 23 provided at the heating apparatus 19, and a heating plate 25 arranged in a position above the heating apparatus 19 so as to cover the heating apparatus 19.
