Summary:To provide an open showcase comprising an opening formed on a front surface thereof, capable of preventing entry of insect from the opening into a showroom, and maintaining temperature in the showroom to low temperature when commodities in the showroom are cooled, while preventing entry of insect into the showroom.SOLUTION: An open showcase comprises: a body case 3 comprising an opening 5 in a front surface thereof and in which a showroom 4 is formed; a cool air dust 7 comprising a cool air outlet 10 positioned on an upper part side of the opening 5 and a cool air inlet 11 positioned on a lower part side of the opening 5 and through which cool air generated when a cooler 8 is driven flows; an insect-repellent fan 13 provided on an upper part of the body case 3; and an insect-repellent air blowout part 14 from which insect-repellent air is blown to a front surface side of the opening 5 when the insect-repellent fan 13 is driven. The insect-repellent air blowout part 14 can be switched between a first blowout position where the insect-repellent air is blown in a horizontal direction and a second blowout position where the insect-repellent air is blown in an oblique lower direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】正面に開口が形成されたオープンショーケースにおいて、その開口から商品陳列室内への虫の侵入を防止し、しかも、商品陳列室内の商品を冷却している場合には商品陳列室内の温度を低温に維持しつつ商品陳列室内への虫の侵入を防止できるようにする。【解決手段】前面に開口５が形成されて内部に商品陳列室４が形成された本体ケース３と、開口５の上部側に位置する冷気吹出口１０と開口５の下部側に位置する冷気吸込口１１とを有して冷却器８が駆動された場合に発生する冷気が流れる冷気ダクト７と、本体ケース３の上部に配置された虫除けファン１３と、虫除けファン１３が駆動されることにより送風される虫除け空気が開口５の正面側に吹出す虫除け空気吹出部１４とを有し、虫除け空気吹出部１４は、虫除け空気が水平方向向きに吹出す第１吹出位置と、虫除け空気が斜め下方向きに吹出す第２吹出位置とに切替可能に設けられている。【選択図】図１
