Summary:To stabilize water quality by operating a filter device without sucking sea firefly; and to provide a condition of breeding water suitable for breeding sea firefly.SOLUTION: Sea firefly is stored in a small-sized breeding container such as a product name: (AZOO) mini-fish house, and installed in a water tank, after covering lids on both sides with a cellophane film, and therefor a filter device can be operated without sucking sea firefly, to thereby stabilize water quality. Further, as breeding water, city water from which chlorine is removed by a product name; chlorine-removing (hypo) GX-30 is used suitably after adjusting its specific gravity to 1.026 g/cmwith a product name; marine-salt.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】ウミホタルを吸い込まずに濾過装置を稼働させることで水質を安定させ、且つウミホタルの飼育に好適な飼育水の条件を提供する。【解決手段】商品名:アズー(AZOO)ミニフィッシュハウスなどの小型飼育容器の中にウミホタルを収容し、両側の蓋をセロハン膜で覆い水槽内に設置することでウミホタルを吸い込まずに濾過装置を稼働させることができ、水質が安定することを見出した。また、飼育水は商品名;カルキぬき(ハイポ)GX−30でカルキ抜きを行った水道水に商品名;marine−saltを比重1.026g/cm3に調整した飼育水が好適である。【選択図】図1
