Summary:To provide a honeycomb filter capable of effectively suppressing the exfoliation and damage of a plugged part disposed so as to plug an opening of a cell.SOLUTION: A honeycomb filter comprises: a columnar honeycomb structure 4 having a porous partition wall 1 located so as to surround a plurality of cells 2; and a plugged part 5 disposed at the opening end part of the cell 2.
