Summary:To provide a micro wave device and a micro wave output control method capable of shortening time required for reduction of a processed substance such as PCB.SOLUTION: There is provided a micro wave device 10 for radiating a micro wave to a liquid substance containing a processed substance and a hydrogen donator, in existence of a metal catalyst, the micro wave device comprising: an output setting part 13 for setting a peak output value of a micro wave; a temperature input part 14 to which a reaction temperature of the liquid substance is input; a control part 12 for performing micro wave output control for repeating alternately, an on period in which the micro wave is output at the peak output value and an off period in which the micro wave is output at a constant output value being smaller than the peak output value or the micro wave is stopped, for maintaining a reaction temperature to a range of a prescribed temperature range; and a micro wave oscillation part 11 for outputting the micro wave according to the micro wave output control performed by the control part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】PCB等の被処理物質の還元に要する時間を短縮できる、マイクロ波装置及びマイクロ波出力制御方法の提供。【解決手段】金属触媒の存在下、被処理物質と水素供与体を含有する液状物にマイクロ波を照射するためのマイクロ波装置10において、マイクロ波のピーク出力値を設定する出力設定部13と、液状物の反応温度が入力される温度入力部14と、反応温度を所定の温度範囲の内に保つように、マイクロ波を前記ピーク出力値で出力させるオン期間と、マイクロ波を出力停止又はピーク出力値よりも小さい一定の出力値で出力させるオフ期間とを交互に繰り返すマイクロ波出力制御を行う制御部12と、制御部が行うマイクロ波出力制御に従ってマイクロ波を出力するマイクロ波発振部11と、を備える。【選択図】図2
