Summary: | To provide a strain gauge having a resistor formed on a flexible substrate, in which an electrode structure is realized with which, even when downsized, it is possible to secure the reliability of joint with an object to be joined.SOLUTION: This strain gauge comprises a flexible substrate, a resistor formed from a material containing at least either chromium or nickel, and a pair of electrodes electrically connected to the resistor on the substrate. Each of the electrodes include a plurality of first patterns juxtaposed at a prescribed interval and electrically connected to each other, with a plurality of second patterns directed in the same longitudinal direction as the plurality of first patterns arranged between the electrodes facing each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
