Summary:To provide a change mechanism of a speed change gear in which a shift arm can be reduced and a small-sized formation of a speed change gear can be attained..SOLUTION: This invention relates to a change mechanism of a speed change gear 1 comprising a detent plate 7 having several recesses 8 at an outer peripheral surface 7e; driven pins 15 protruded from a plate surface of the detent plate 7; a shift arm 25 having a pair of claws 27 oppositely faced to each other over the driven pins 15; a stopper member 9 biased to abut against the outer peripheral surface 7e of the detent plate 7. The adjoining driven pins 15 are arranged to have one wide clearance and other equal-clearances. The detent plate 7 is provided with a circular arc part 7r having an arcuate shape at a part of the outer peripheral surface 7e.
