The inverter case 32 is arranged in such a manner that a second wall part 60 and a first wall part 50 are opposed to each other. The first wall part 50 and the second wall part 60 comprise joint surfaces 52 and 62 opposed to each other, respectively. The electric compressor 10 comprises an annular seal member 71 and a heat dissipating grease 72. The seal member 71 and the heat dissipating grease 72 are arranged between the first wall part 50 and the second wall part 60. The joint surfaces 52 and 62 comprise heat dissipating surfaces 54 and 64 between which a face-to-face distance d2 is shorter than a face-to-face distance d1 between seal surfaces 53 and 63.
